Detta är ett samspel med Brothers in Arms The operation will be based on the 1943 Raid on Capo Murro di Porco, undertaken by the newly established Special Raiding Squadron, under the command of Major Paddy Mayne. The purpose of the raid was the neutralise the Lamba Doria coastal artillery battery located on Capo Murro di Porco, at the southern tip of the Maddalena Peninsula - left unchecked, these defences could have caused great damage to the Allied fleet forming for Operation Husky, the Allied invasion of Sicily. The Special Raiding Squadron will be tasked with undertaking a naval landing on the Maddalena Peninsula, locating then destroying the coastal artillery cannons within the Lamba Doria Battery. After this task has been completed, the SRS have operational freedom to neutralise targets of opportunity and cause havoc in the Italian rear area.
