Nato has sent a US Carrier fleet with addition of NATO units to the island of Sahrani. The US Carrier fleet consists of a support carrier and two amphibious elements. NATO forces operating in the region will have access to a variety of support equipment including air transports, close air support and mechanised elements to assist in quelling the Aamans army. Sahrani Island consists of a variety of urban zones that are heavily utilised by insurgent forces to hinder any progress of coalition units, these centres also behave as local recruitment hubs for the insurgency and therefore there is a priority interest in securing them to prevent insurgent strength from growing further.
